Fiona Apple has been all over the internet lately, and rightfully so. Between her recent stint in jail and her 2012 release The Idler Wheel…, the talented songstress has made a big comeback after a long hiatus. She has amassed somewhat of a cult following since her debut over ten years ago due to her consistent delivery of quality albums and the talent to back it up. No matter how controversial her behavior, appearance or attitude, Fiona Apple demands respect as a result of her unabashed honesty and realness. Lucky for us she’s hitting Stage AE on October 21. If nothing else, go to see if something wild happens, as she’s been known to do.

I think my favourite tune from Fiona Apple is “Pale September” from her first album Tidal, which originally went for $5.98 when it first hit the scene. When she got big, it shot up to $11.98 and then up to $15.98. It would be cool to finally see her. She cancelled her show at AJ Palumbo in 1998, apparently some unpublished reason…
