Join the dancers and musicians of Attack Theatre as they embark on a series of performances in public spaces throughout the city. Each location was selected because of the presence of public art. Every performance will utilize American Sign Language interpreters on-site. Engage in conversation, creation, dance and music at this series of innovative events. Tue. 9/25 6:30 p.m. East Liberty (Penn Avenue and South Beatty Street)
Thu. 9/27 6:00 p.m. Oakland (Schenley Plaza, in front of Frick Fine Arts Building)
Sat. 9/29 11:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m. Northside (Buhl Community Park at Allegheny Square)
Sun. 9/30 5:00 p.m. Wilkinsburg (Penn Avenue, between Wood and Center Streets)
Oakland’s art selection is “A Song to Nature” by Victor David Brenner. East Liberty features “Lend Me Your Ears” by Jordan Monahan (assisted by Allison Zapata). The North Shore highlights “Pittsburgh Variations” by George Sugarman. Wilkinsburg’s selection is “10,000′ by Brian Holderman with Jesse Best and the North Side’s selected piece is “Cubed Tension” by Sylvester Damianos.
