Garfield’s Most Wanted Fine Art needs YOUR help raising funds for their recent Kickstarter project, which is set to end this Friday, August 3 at 9:58PM. They’re a little less than $1000 shy of their $3K goal to execute a multi-city public art car experience. Every year in October, artist Jason Sauer brings his derby car to Pittsburgh as part of his opening, which also serves as the anniversary party for the gallery. Since this year will be the 5-year milestone, they want to expand the experience. Neato!
The plan consists of four parts. A road trip that will hit Texas, Houston, NOLA, Florida and North Carolina; a stop at the Demolition Derby at the Great Stoneboro Fair in PA; an exhibit in October titled “Vehicular Abstraction” and when it’s all over, sculptures/plaques for the backers of the project will be gifted. To learn more about the trip and what exactly is being funded, watch the video below they specially created for the project:
Pledge rewards for this campaign are quite creative. Everything from beer coozies, to mugshots, to underwear is being offered. For a full list of perks and price levels, be sure to visit their Kickstarter page.
We wish the folks at Most Wanted the best of luck in reaching their goal by Friday!
