This hottie to the left is none other than Leslie Feist, who is responsible for the infectious “1,2,3,4″ single from an iPod commercial and is also a member of the indie rock band Broken Social Scene. If you recall, I covered Feist in my Summer Concert Preview. “One of my most-anticipated shows of the summer – Feist will play Stage AE’s outdoor venue on July 14. I didn’t get a chance to catch her back in 2007 when she was touring in support of her fantastic release, The Reminder, but 2011′s Metals contains more than a few songs that beg to be heard live. I have a feeling this show will deliver a lot more than her past tours, as The Reminder presented a much more subdued Feist.”
Needless to say, we’re PUMPED! If you’re just as pumped as we are, you can purchase tickets here. The show has a door time of 7PM. The music at Stage AE usually starts about an hour after doors. Please note: they’re seating the pit for this one so the more expensive ticket price gets you closer to the stage than you would be on the lawn, and you’ll have an assigned seat. We think there isn’t a bad seat in the house at Stage AE, though, since it’s such an intimate concert experience for an outdoor venue. You can bring a blanket, chill on the lawn, and relax to some soothing Feist tunes. Sounds like a great Saturday to me!
Best of all, we’ve managed to snab a pair of tickets to give away, today, on the day America declared independence, the 4th of July. Consider it our gift to you in celebration of the holiday. All you have to do to enter the contest is leave a comment below and tell us what your favorite Feist song is. We’ll select a winner at random on Friday, July 13. Duplicate entries will not be counted and if you comment via the website’s commenting system (rather than via Facebook) please be sure to include your e-mail address so we can notify you! Good luck and have a great holiday!

How My Heart Behaves will always be my #1.
My daughter performed “1234″ for her junior high talent show. She would love to go. It would be her first concert.
