Join the Rocking Horse Artspace and a variety of local talent as they host the El Conquistador BBQ Saturday from noon to midnight. Twelve hours of free beer, weenies, entertainment, art and friends at one of the hippest galleries in Lawrenceville. Quite possibly the best part of the event is the incredible spaceship that was built for the occasion. A series of surveillance cameras have been hooked up around the space and will be broadcasting the day’s haps from the spaceship, which is also where the deejays will perform. Does this sound far fetched? Check out the diagram below.
So what’s the spaceship all about, you ask? According to them, “Most recently, a bio-mechanical space station from a planet in the Sombrero Galaxy (M104) crashed to Earth on its search for love and meaning in the universe. The staff here at Rocking Horse has named the ship El Conquistador. Sadly, El Conquistador has lost the ability to operate itself and make the long flight home.” It’s up to us to party in the spaceship to get it back into operating condition! It’s like a role-playing party, minus the kink! Complimentary Iron City beer will be provided for the 21+ guests of this event, which is family, child, bike and animal friendly. Limited food will be provided, so make sure you bring a dish! The schedule of performances is as follows:

Ben Smith and Devin Carroll for their help! See you Saturday!
